Why we get today the worst customer services in the West

They’ll tell you it’s all about “globalization”.

But here is what they did in fact: they continue to sell us overpriced phone or Internet services, software products or food, at the level of living in the West (e.g. in North America or the Western Europe).

But all the customer/support services have been “outsourced” for cheap to very poor countries. And this wouldn’t be a problem, but the quality of service you receive back is not at all at the level of the high price you paid for your product or utility service.

If they outsourced their support services to let’s say India, you will be treated exactly like they treat customers in India. Not in UK, USA, France or Canada.

But their customers out there pay 100x less for those products or services.

I know, because I lived in such a third-world country myself. And I left especially because of the corruption and bureaucracy. Because of exactly the same level of poor services I receive now here, in Canada. Where, however, I have to pay much more for anything around.

Those people never received and will never receive some proper training, to serve us at the level we expect here. And I know no company who cares about this, they are all the same.
