Why the Snowflake subreddit is a Joke
I reposted this yesterday on their r/snowflake subreddit. I had no idea initially that this was moderated by Snowflake. But I found Felipe Hoffa there among the moderators, a well-known Snowflake developer advocate.
And while the post continues to accumulate upvotes, as you see — a clear sign that people appreciate the message — I’ve been attacked like hell, by Snowflake employees and …”anonymous people”, in the comments section.
I’ll post here just a last sample. And remember, this is indeed “moderated” by Snowflake! This is what they try to do to you, when you have just a simple disagreement. These are the people working there!
Garbage stays there for hours and hours, for half a day or more. So do not believe them when they’ll come up with gaslighting, because this is what they do…
Not that I care much, but there is a total lack of transparency on what Snowflake does, which should not be here in the first place. For any product or company, there are positive and negative things everyone should share and talk about. In a constructive manner. Which cannot be always positive, when things are obviously not good.
