I'm not paid by anyone, and these are my own opinions, don't be rude...

If companies like Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP etc etc can offer you a free trial without involving any sales people right away, companies that offer smaller products/services, and with less value, should do the same.

Getting a sales person involved right away, when you cannot offer a simple free demo that you may check in a few minutes alone, does not inspire trust. As a potential client, let me check back with a sales person only after I had a look at the merchandise...
