You lived under a rock in the past year if you never heard about this guy. To me, he came up out of nowhere on TikTok, with “I’m 20+ years old and I already made $500K+ a year at Airbnb, Netflix, Meta and other giants”.

He’s a very smart, exotic and outspoken individual, with a lot of personal problems he’s not afraid to expose. He is an alcoholic, with huge drug problems, marijuana dependency and so on. His girlfriend left him a while ago, because he was good at nothing. And now he made $2M last year alone, in revenge. (All this is what he wrote, not me!)

For one year, he sold his Data Engineering course at $2K a piece. And he made money, a lot of money! Then he decided to offer the course for free on YouTube, for several months. I subscribed myself to this course — as I’ve seen a lot of value in it — but I never had time for it, unfortunately.

Long story short, the guy decides initially to leave his free course there two more weeks. I post a comment myself, thanking him, and I repost it to my few followers praising his course. But the guy suddenly decides that this is it. It takes it down, and then he starts venting against YouTube and us, the freeloaders.
