How to get into the Snowflake Directory with no certification exam

You know I’m not a big fan of this, but be it. The Snowflake Directory is their area in Accredible where they display in public your Snowflake/SnowPro certifications and other credentials, if you agree to opt-in.

And you have lots of people with SnowPro Core or Advanced certifications, as I described here. But you may get into the same directory, with no difference whatsoever, even if you waste a few minutes or hours on one of their “workshops”, i.e. free online courses teaching about something. They are not bad at all — don’t get me wrong — but anyone who acquired a $375 US proctored Advanced certification would understand that it should be a difference. Customers don’t know this and a guy with a “SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer Certification” is and should be advertised several levels upper than someone who simply watched an online course.
