That’s not a joke and not clickbait. Such a situation actually exists. And I continue to be confronted with it more often than expected…

“Hi Cristian, I have a question for you…”

For my highly specialized courses on Udemy, this is how several of my private or Q&A messages start. In half a year, I received several times a very similar request as the one that I will publish below.

People coming up with long and complex questions… But about their own work projects or school assignments. Not about my own material or anything closely related, about what I teach.

Most of my students are more than decent and truly appreciate what I have to offer. But a few of them pop up with the ridiculous expectation that some professional expert with some cheap course, for which they paid 10 bucks or got it 100% free — and which they can return anyway back in 30-days, for 100% money back — should spend his time fixing their own stuff…
