GET_QUERY_OPERATOR_STATS: Another Blunder from Snowflake?

Almost two years ago I wrote about the new GET_QUERY_OPERATOR_STATS system function released by Snowflake, and supposed to offer programmatic functionality to their users. The post is still on Snowflake’s blog and I was showing one way to create your own Query Profile.
